Youth ServiceDistrict Welcome Home Dinner for Youth Exchange StudentsPaul Williamson, 17/02/2009
Friday 13th marked the homecoming dinner for our 24 Youth Exchange students returning from 17 countries around the world. They were joined for the evening by the 26 Inbound students who are presently being hosted by many of our clubs. The Rotarians present, their partners and guests were entertained by the beautiful voices of three of our students, and District Governor Tony Castley presented certificates to all returning students. We were reminded of how much energy and vigour the young students bring to the clubs who host them, and encourage all clubs to consider including sponsoring and hosting a young person either inbound to Australia, or outbound to an overseas country, in your program for 2010.
