Macquarie Park Rotary happenings

President's Piece, 06/02/2010

Hello Members & Friends of Rotary,

Hopefully after this weeks constant rain, the dam might have reached the brim! but who knows?, it might have rained around the perimeters of the Dam, just missing the spot! lets hope the clouds GPS navigational system got it right this time or

"Lets Build the Dam thing in Ryde" this could be a great Rotary Project!

Talking about the rain, a special thanks To Rob Wilkinson for holding the Carols Thank you evening at his place last Friday night, there were tents erected, thanks to Buddy Aboud from his company called " Celebrating"  who is one of our Carols sponsors, kindly donated again the tents for the evening on Friday night. There were approximately 70  in attendance, from members, spouses, sponsors with North Ryde Rotary & Macquarie Rotary hosting the thank you evening. A great night.

Last Tuesday, we had the presence of GSE Leader Theo Glockeman, and our candidate Dean Egger. We also had the pleasure of District Govenor Nominee David Rands who really enjoyed our breakfast meeting. In fact all our guests just love our breakfast meetings!
